Dylan McBurney Photography - Reportage Wedding Photography
My love of weddings comes from the memories and feelings I have of my own wedding to my wife Caroline. We met in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1999 and married in her hometown of Hennebont, France in 2003. The international love affair had stints in London, Paris and the home counties of England before returning to sunny Northern Ireland in 2002.
Beautifully natural, unobtrusive photography
That’s when I realised I really loved taking pictures of people. My professional career began by shooting weddings and Irish landscapes. In 2005, I was thrilled to take part in an exhibition in New York with the famous American photographer Mary Ellen Mark. Since then I have shared my photographs in galleries and magazines around the world.
Authentic, unposed, documentary coverage
I’m a proud member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). The WPJA is a professional organisation of photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. What sets us apart in the industry is our documentary approach – a distinctly artistic vision toward wedding photography.
A Distinctly Artistic Vision Toward Wedding Photography
I love shooting weddings. Most of all, I love capturing real moments and telling the true story of the wedding day. Your wedding photographs will become the memories of the best day of your lives together.
